By any chance to you still have QV on or another program that uses the data still active.

Try rebooting your machine, closing QV and then try it again.

Otherwise, no brilliant solutions here.

Someone (I believe it was Sean) mentioned being able to transfer qp data via LAN. I am trying to copy my qpdata file from my PC to my laptop but I am getting a "Cannot copy CLOCAL. There has been a sharing violation..." error. I do not have any data files open on either machine.

Do you have virtual open?

Something is locking the file. If you still sure you have nothing open , take virutal from startup folder reboot and it should work.

I have done this procedure over a dozen times....
