Hi George, the thread does have that free-for-all, anything goes, old-time Feel to it, doesn't it? It was kind of you to exempt me even though I did write about diaphanous clothing and gummi bears. Your post struck me- as a Catholic born and bred- do you think the whole concept of Purgatory and Limbo (all those poor unbaptized babies floating around- that really used to upset me) arose because even back then, in those gullible and magical times of spiritual submission, people couldn't believe in a God with so tiny an acceptability quotient? No--I suppose not-I think it had something to do with selling Indulgences and making money for the Church. Sorry- it was a long bad day in the Market.
