I have a safe, long term, lifetime buy and hold for you guys in this environment and in any environment: MO. It was Alcompura's top choice when DOW was at 7500 and I think it's still his top choice here. So is mine. For those with more speculative needs, check out MO's call options. They are rediculously, rediculously cheap with practically no time premium for a stock worth $58. Its Dec 60 is selling for a mere $1. Its Jan 60 for $2. Their implied volatility is a mere 0.30. And look at the chart - Kernan has been touting it and why not? Considering all angles, this one should be a core holding in any portfolio.

I'm getting ready to see some profit taking for those stocks that have run up recently so I wont chase them but I would not short them (other than the drillers) either as there are still plenty of money ready to step right in and scoop things up. Definitely no near term put. Got two calls assigned today out of six.

Papaya - do you believe stranger things can and will happen now? Had you in your wildest dream thought MU would be marching towards $50 two months ago?
