G, You still don't know the difference between a real project and an over promoted one, do you? You constantly fail to recognize that the one thing that these exchanges offer now and again is the regulators ability to flex their muscles to examine a deal. Safe Environment (formerly Roper Resources) went through several months of the regulators probing, after the company halted itself to ensure that the regulators were satisfied. These are not the actions of a dodgy promoter. Canada is rife with bad deals - that does not mean every deal, or in fact this one. Both Vancouver and Calgary have attracted companies because of the ability they give to raise capital for new ventures. The problem has always been that there are unscrupulous people who abuse this and line their own pockets rather than the company treasury enabling the project at hand. If you had your way these exchanges would surely cease to exist as you seem to think that all companies are run by promoters who are just in it for themselves. Start your own thread somewhere if you believe every word of what old Chelekis says. He is not exactly known for his accuracy in making accusations against people or companies. Don't make the same mistake as him. As one example of many, take a look at the following " Apology to David Baines & Southam Inc VANCOUVER SUN ("ZVSUN-V") KGC INC ("ZKGC-V") VANCOUVER STOCK EXCHANGE ("VSE-V") MARKET NEWS PUBLISHING INC ("ZMNP-V") - Apology to David Baines And Southam On September 29, 1994, Market News Publishing Inc. disseminated an article that made allegations that Vancouver Sun business writer David Baines was trading against his column. This article was written by George Chelekis, a stock tipster from Clearwater, Florida. The allegations against Mr. Baines were completely false. We sincerely apologize to Mr. Baines and The Vancouver Sun for disseminating this material and for any inconvenience or embarrassment this may have caused.
