ARAVA is good news. However, I am hopeful that there will be something more than another drug to stem the symptoms.

The most important aspect of ARAVA is the claim that ARAVA is the only drug known to stem the deteriorating effects of RA on joints.

I believe the cause of RA is where IMNR should look----genetic, viral, bacterial----a combination. The cause can then be addressed via gene manipulation or vacine. Not the disease after it begins.
