Roger,
They say that the bull market will end when the last bear throws in the towel. It sure looks like the last of the bears have thrown in the towel, but only after having been beaten to within an inch of their (collective financial) lives!

I can only believe that Greenspan has allowed (or should I say engineered) this unprecedented speculative bubble because the perceived alternative was so much worse.

I think it's going to be a Merry Christmas, but I have my doubts about a Happy New Year!

Roger, shorting YHOO and AMZN isn't sadistic, it's masochistic. Advising someone else to short the Internuts is sadistic.

Masochist:"Beat me, beat me, please!"

Sadist:"No."

Roger,

Did you happen to notice that the last two news releases on ATHM were about competitors entering the cable internet market and yet the stock sky rockets? This rally is even more insane than than the last one. Even more disturbing is the fact that everyone on this thread is now following the Pie Eyed Piper and blindly following suit by buying the internuts. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to short these beasts but going long just for the sake of going long is equally stupid IMHO. Might as well take a trip to Las Vegas instead. At least the drinks there are free. If this isn't a sign of another major sell off, then I don't know what is. I'm going to start my own internut company and bring it public- Hank Online. It will just be me, my dog, and my cat in front of a live video cam but I'll cater to e-commerce by allowing advertising. I'll also sign autographs via my notepad by downloading to the white board for a small fee. Do I hear $100.share? I expect to be profitable sometime in the year 3000.
