Yes, as Lord Keynes said, "In the long run, we are all dead." I guess people will still be drinking Coke in 100 years, but maybe they'll discover that sugar or carbonation cuts 20 years off life expectancy and Coke will disappear? I hear that in Asia Coke doesn't sell well but canned tea does. Taste is fickle- maybe Coke isn't invincible here, either? Will the Washington Post still be publishing? Will Freddie Mac be around? McDonalds? I think it's a good bet there will still be a place for insurance companies in 100 years. Banks will still be around, I imagine. Good thing we don't have to think that far ahead.
