Chicago Gets More DSL Services

From InternetWeek...

Verio Inc. and Rhythms NetConnections Inc. yesterday
announced they will roll out Digital Subscriber Line
services for Chicago businesses starting Nov. 30.

For its part, Verio will offer a suite of Web hosting and
Internet services. Rhythms will provide secure, high-speed
connections ranging in speed from 256 Kbps to 1 Mbps.
The combined offering from the two companies will be
sold as an integrated Internet/high-speed access service for
a flat monthly rate.

The services will be based on Paradyne's Hotwire products
including the Hotwire Multiple Virtual Line technology,
which allows multiple users in a single office to share the
bandwidth of a high-speed connection. By Salvatore
