Excellent post Kevin.

I have been doing this for two years in total and just over a year on the internet. I am still at the "bad" end of the Learning Curve! Your point on hiring someone is intriguing! But, where in the Dickens would a guy find such a person?? Especially in Edmonton?

I really enjoy daytrading and short term trading. I plan to make a career out of it. I am a Mr. Mom (the wife brings home the bacon and I cook it!) and that affords me the luxury of being here all day in the comfort of my own home office (and the peace and quiet when the kids are at school). They leave when the market opens and come home a half hour after it closes (which is good - that way they don't see Daddy crying or cursing after taking a big hit)!

I have a long way to go on the Learning Curve. I don't have much to trade and I have had to take out the majority of my profits to make ends meet around here. I also could never afford a course of any kind. Any thoughts that might help re: a tutor? My wife and I had someone tutor us in practical bookkeeping in addition to our formal training. The tutor provided us with an insight that you just can't get in school or in the school of hard knocks!

Nevertheless day and S/T trading is a great deal of fun and at times a real RUSH!!!

TIA

A

Kevin/ I believe a daytrading course IS available in Canada. I forget the guy's name, but his company has a trading emporium (ala Block Trading) in Toronto, and is looking for investors to franchise in other cities. If I can find his name/number, I'll post it. Or maybe someone else here knows it...
