does not know his history very well. Most of that analysis is just wrong, urban myth. I was deeply (and unfortunately) involved in the early OS/2 work. Believe me, windows owes nothing to OS/2, more's the pity. But the OS/2 windowing interface was written almost entirely by MSFT when the original IBM PM team went in the ditch, so whatever similarities exist in the GUI are there honestly, but the technology transfer went the other way.

His (her) early history of DOS is wrong too. I have covered that in detail before so I'll not bore the thread with a rehash unless someone asks.
