for Friday, 20th November, 1998.

Name one stock that will increase
20% before 31st December, 1998.
Must be a closing price. Provide
brief fundamental or technical
reasons.

However, in view of the
interest from
late-comers I have created
three categories
of contestants:

2. Monday Quarterbacks
3. Jimbos (Posters who predict retroactively).

You could qualify for (2)
if you use closing price for

Stock Picking Contest update -- just for fun.

Here's the poor man's graphical representation of the famous 'stock guessing' contest. These links will become outdated as the days go by since I needed to embed the day delta into the url. As of Dec 16, it looks like TLAB is the winner so far (+21%) and DNCC is the loser (-31%). Ironically, if you threw CPQ into the mix, it would have taken second place! Sure are a lot of double digit negatives in this collection...
