Nortel Networks will distribute Efficient Networks' SpeedStream 3020 and 5010 DMT ADSL modems to service providers requiring standards-based CPE optimized for end-to-end interoperability and simple high-speed network attachment. The SpeedStream DSL products are capable of being converted to the forthcoming G.Lite standard through firmware downloads. Both companies' products utilize Analog Device's Discrete Multi-tone (DMT) ADSL chipset as the core signal processing engine. Third paragraph.
