Leiser offers various definitions of the term unnatural, many of which have been used to try and prove the immorality of homosexuality. Things like "Whatever is uncommon or abnormal is unnatural" and "Any use of an organ or an instrument that is contrary to its principal purpose or function is unnatural".

He shows what is wrong with all of these arguments; in the former case for instance, no one can argue that playing viola in a string quartet is evil because only a tiny fraction of people engage in it.

So basically, Leiser disproves the "rational" arguments that have been used to claim that homosexuality is wrong.

Which reminds me, my roomate has suspicions about me and a friend of mine just because of the way we joke around. And it's starting to bug the hell out of me that a lot of people my age are using the word gay as a synonym for stupid... (i.e. "My paper is due Tuesday, that's so gay.") Ugh....
