Talks continued Monday as the two Internet giants, along with intended
partner Sun Microsystems Inc., worked to finalize an agreement for AOL
to pay some $4.21 billion in stock for Netscape. The sticking point,
according to people familiar with the situation, remains the talks between
AOL and Sun, which center around the payment Sun will make to AOL to
use Netscape technology.
