DAAAN,

The facts that Fran has brought up are certainly apparent on other boards and in fact, on one ( Great White Marine) symbol JAWS, the shorts had such a debenture set up online, but a quirk happened, and a single very wealthy investor, bought up the entire float as the shorts were shorting in lieu of this scheme, and guess what? This same investor loaned the Company another million to cancel the debenture! Now combined with the other shareholders the estimated total of market shares shorted ( excluding restricted shares="the float")equals at least 3 times the float, or approximately 10 million shares shorted, with a float est. at about 3.5mil!

Now the interesting thing, the shareholders are calling in their certificates, and since they EXCEED the legal float, guess what happens? These shorts will not be able to furnish the certs. ( which they must do legally) and the time is rapidly approaching that they will be bought in ( a squeeze ) In my opinion and most others, THE POOR SHORTS ARE SCREWED!!! They plant paid bashers to try to stem the tide, but the noose is tightening!

daaan,
No problem, in fact the more people exposed to the way we (the individual investors) have been manipulated the better. Some of the companies involved had no idea they were being ripped off with the convertible debentures & the subsequent actions of their stocks. Knowledge is the first step the next is learning how to combat those who attempt to get around the law by devious methods. JAWS ( Great White ) is one attempt to do that as Gene has said. Stay tuned to see the results, it may take some time. I waited for Unisys for 3 years to make me $$ I can wait 2-3 months, patience is the key.
