>>I have been impressed by your thinking on where the 'next wave' is going, although I don't agree with every conclusion. But to be credible with knowledgeable industry insiders, you need to be more meticulous in your research especially on the history of MSFT itself. Promoting incorrect information about key historical facts damages the believability of other facts you might present, which I'm sure is not your intent.>> Rudedog: Appreciate your response. You are right about my intent and the need to be accurate and truthful. I will take a look at your references so that I have a correct understanding of original record DOS and OS/2 devevelopments. The internet has this wonderful way of exposing others who go over the line and spin informaiton for power or political gain. Again, that is not my intent. I am a pure free agent investor and commentator on these things with no ax to grind other than a business model I am refining in my own environment. What's really exciting about all this is that is not just the technology anymore..... The people BEHIND the technology have to make it come alive in a very basic "in your face" kind of way. I am embracing certain tools and programs on the net, in handhelds, on digital wireless networks, etc. in a holistic way that's driven by a personal energy that all people have but do not claim very easily. The model I am testing has the greatest legs among those who do not have the money in the box, security, etc. The is a very real potential that as these big companies are unbundled the drivers of these companies among middle to upper class America are going to HAVE to get off their butts and get connected - clued on where their business is going. Going forward, an increasing amount of business will be going out the "back door" loading docks of corporations. The same LD reselling phenomena will take place over and over and over again. All distribution will be virtual. The Holy Grail will be TRUST. People trusting and working with people. That's the bottom line. Who do you want to trust today???? Thanks for being open and put your cards on the table. I will check a few of the cards in my hand - perhaps discard some as I draw new ones from the deck. Thanks again.
