Completely Off Topic Warning!!

Why do you look at offering Bernie Williams $80 million as a good thing? To me you have to understand that you can only break the bank/budget for so long. Look at the Marlins for crying out loud they are a disgrace. You would have $25 million a year tied up for two players for the next 5-6 years. Williams is good but not at that price. I look at Lofton at $6.5 million as a bargain.

Also the Offerman deal is a complete joke. $6.5 million per year for a stiff. He is quite possibly the worst infielder (defense-wise) in our lifetimes (excluding Russ Davis of course).

Then again the Indians now have possibly the best double play combination and defense up the middle in the history of the game. The offense is also helped. Now if we can find a way to get the Rocket.
