<We need to distinguish between competition and potential competition. The fact that Fujitsu is not attempting to sell CAPS, which has been around for quite awhile would seem to support the contention that the process is too expensive. The downside for Fujitsu of licensing someone else to try to produce CIS is zero. > CAPS is not CIS. They are developed and come from 2 different sources. Earlier this year, I gave you contact numbers to talk for yourself. I'd call the people at Nitto Denko and ask them if they could tell you about their CIS programs. Additionally, Fujitsu has used CAPS internally, but they have now started to license it to Magnecomp, which is a new development which I don't think has yielded any programs yet. It may in the future. The people at Magnecomp seem to think they can make it at lower cost than Hutch, but that is yet to be seen and only one factor in success. I'm in Australia, so I won't be calling anybody. Finally, I was told Quantum uses CIS. I don't know the quantity, but again, help me find out more. Are your sources, outside Hutchinson IR, telling you anything? I keep getting into these discussions with you. I'm just saying I think the price is getting back to the higher side. Yes, and yes again, I agree that their products are well liked, or that they've changed their outlook to more positive by improving production volumes. When it was selling for under $20, it was the kind of value that we all would like to buy. Now, it is maybe still good value under $40, but I think it is no longer a "Blue Light", back up the truck special. Regards, Mark
