I would appreciate a quick overview of what short interest means. For example..I saw a report on WCAP that shows:

Previous 5,132
Change 87
% Change 2
Avg Volume 32000
days to cover 0.2
I think the share information is fairly self-evident..but what about the days to cover info..is that a good indicator..and if so, how so?
This info was listed for October, by the way. Thanks.
Ron

Irby, all:

There is - somewhere - a website which provides after-close and pre-open prices on selected stocks.

Anybody remember where that is?

TIA, Peter

Irby,
My father-in-law is interested in some internet based system similar to my SP Marketscope, their fundamental research took, somehing that gives great fundamental data.

He is also interested in some site where he can plug in a bunch of criter (book/Price < 2, PE>3, Market cap>300mill, etc.) and it will provide results in certain sectors.

Any great ideas? I figured, you the man, when it comes to this type of stuff.

Gobble, Gobble
