What drives the price of a stock on heavy volume. 1 speculation/rumor 2 imbalance in ususal accumulate diss equation ie more money wanting in than wanting out. the more the volume and the more days under accumulation the more the likelihood that institutionall money is coming in. not the usual kind of short pop seen with a rumor. What is new. Well for one thing ALYD was just officially recognozed as the fastest growing company ion the southeast, an area of growth and especially of entrapenurial startups. ///////this refocused my attention. If the company continues current growth then by yr 2k we will have banked a lot of money. if earnings accelerate as the demand for services heat up as the sand is running out ie higher margins this may explode. Now if we make a lot of money and the plan for the post 2k focus becomes better defined and is put into reality and begins to grow. Then we have a very fast growing technology sector co. with rapidly accelerating earning funding the growth of other remediation work or something that would fit strategically with the core market and competencies of management and in house creativity or finding the right company to buy and grow. There are several highly regarded local research firms including Interstate Johnson Lane. Any one trade there or with other SE firm that provides

What makes you think it is postioning ? Just curious. Nice little rise here the last few days...can it sustain ? Do you see a bust thru $10 - $12, sideways action in the $9's, or a drop back down to the $7's.

Personally, I think this baby can do something in the short run. If the hype keeps hitting, I would not be surprised to see it break above the $11 range...at that point, I feel it will drop back to $8, or bust thru resistance and hit $15. I think alot depends on the mindset of shareholders that bought in at higher levels...will they get back to even and take their money and run, or will they feel good enough about ALYD to hold on a while longer. Since greed tends to override reason...if we are in a nice upswing, I would thinkmany would hold on and see what happens.

My charts started showing a rise in projected highs and low's several weeks ago. I don't think much has changed as far as paramaters go....the main thing is simply the date...the closer we get to possible problems, the higher the projections will rise. At the same time...as projection rises, so does the risk grade. Although, I now show $6.75 - $15.15 ( big gap shows " speculation " )on the charts...the risk grade dropped 1 spot to a 3f ( speculative...high risk ).

My gut feeling is ALYD will do something short term, but thats just a feeling. Anyway...I am still on the sidelines...but watching intently and cheering this baby on.

Happy Trading.
