Hello Everyone,

Since I bought SUNW a couple years ago and have always planned to hold it for the next 30, I seldom post or worry about the short term price. I have always followed the news religiously, which is why I made this my #1 holding way back then.

I just wanted to congratulate all the long term holders who have maintained their holding based on the long term fundamentals.
(espically Addi, who's posts I have been reading here for years)

I have always believed that SUNW has the brightest minds in technology working on the future of computing, led by management with a clear vision. I look forward to the next 30 years of being a SUNW shareholder. Good job.

[ WOW... this is great. that street sees things our way. what took them so long to see value in sunw?]

Because the street believed the winner had to be either MSFT or SUNW. The street could not believe that both companies could be winners. Also, the street, in general, does not understand technology: UNIX and JAVA, for instance. And everyone believed that MSFT's technology would always rule the world.

There is a place for MSFT's technology, I suppose. As consumers, we do not like MSFT products but we have had to buy their software because they set the standard with DOS. DOS was good but we believe MSFT's products after DOS have been unreliable and inferior.

With UNIX gaining market share, we believe that our next PC will have a UNIX operating system.
