Look what happened to the price of LCOS in July and August, when the Internet mania subsided. The price went from 53 to 20. The Internet craze in the market might wind up being the next chapter in "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds." The amusing thing is that before the crash, polls showed that many "investors" thought the Internet stocks were reasonably priced, given the unlimited potential of the Internet. Right after the crash, everyone suddenly said the opposite -- that the stocks were way overvalued.
