OT -- Just in time for Thanksgiving, Sun Tzu get's something very nice to give thanks for. For starters, Prudential upgrades VISX and the stock is now at $70 making Sun Tzu, who bought it at 50 and sold options for another 7 a happy man. Secondly, the bet on NOVL paid off and those 40 call contracts on Novel, that were later augmented by another 40 contracts today, will bring about 100~150% returns. More joy! Now I was going to buy some TDFX at 12.5 yesterday, on the grounds that if I understand the trade, 12.5 is as low as it should go and if it goes any lower, I'll be dropping it, but I decided that risk/reward ratio was in favor of VISX and NOVL instead. Add to this great day, a very unexpected surprise (as if surprises are ever to be expected ;). That someone whose been following my trades for the past few months, asked me if I'm interested in managing a 100k for his pension fund. It is not a lot of money, but then again the compensation is very good and I'll be buying and selling the same things that I already do, so there is no extra work involved for me. All in all this has been a great day. Do wish me luck; one can never have enough of it. At times like this I try to think of things that would make me humble, and God knows I there is a lot for me to be humble about. A most recent one is a list of 30 picks that I posted yesterday on AoI, and 3 out of the 4 stocks in that list went down today. O'well, like I said, I am not invested in any of them, but I'm considering them. First order of the day tomorrow is going to be adding to my VISX and NOVL positions. Sun Tzu
