vepoc...how true!...

Many on this thread have opinions that are similar.
However, I cannot believe that anyone knows each others financial position/objectives, risk tolerance or time horizons. Insights and recommendations expressed should, therefore, be used to augment or reinforce ones existing positions. ---IMO

It is a discipline not to listen blindly to the sirens touting some of the momentum stocks. (mythological reference)

Unfortunately, it might not have been a joke.....but an expensive lesson.

I feel very strongly that what happened to Mr Garcia today happens everyday out there with astounding frequency...Mr. Garcia, although a bit foolish, was man enough to describe a situation that probably plays out hundreds of times per day in this game...I think what was so interesting is that so many of you posters were compassionate and tried to lend a hand, like a trying to help a person who has broken through thin ice on a frozen pond...ah the humanity of it all. Personally, I feel like I was watching a horrific accident happen before my eyes. For all who were able to witness this as it was happening, I feel like it was like a real life lab experiment at the School of Bad Trades at Dow Jones University.

Hope he recovers quickly. I don't like to see that happen to anyone - Good luck
