Just finished reading the NR. Generally a very glowing report. I agree Quad that its great that they took advantage of the crappy market to buy-back their stock.

Quad - Congrats to you as well. You also predicted .12!

So now lets see what tomorrow will bring on the stock. I think that that NOVL recovery is OFFICIAL!

Novell 4th-Qtr Net Rises Fivefold on Strong New Product Sales

Provo, Utah, Nov. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Novell Inc.'s fiscal
fourth-quarter profit rose more than fivefold, beating forecasts,
as the maker of software to run computer networks saw strong
sales of its newest products, especially Internet-based software.

Net income for the quarter ended Oct. 31 rose to $42.0
million, or 12 cents a share, from $7.17 million, or 2 cents, in
the year-earlier period. Novell was expected to earn 9 cents, the
average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by First Call Corp.

The company, which struggled as Microsoft Corp. moved into
the market for network-management software, has bolstered revenue
by shifting its focus to Internet-based products. Novell's new
version of its NDS software to control data on networks is
boosting sales, and three Internet-equipment makers recently said
they'll make their gear compatible with NDS.

''The new products are making a big contribution'' to
Novell's turnaround, said Joel Achramowicz, an analyst at
Preferred Capital Markets, who rates Novell ''strong buy.''

Revenue rose 11 percent to $297.6 million from $269.3
million a year ago. It was Novell's second consecutive quarterly
sales increase after more than a year of falling revenue.

Novell, based in Provo, Utah, fell 5/8 to 17 3/8. The
company reported results after the close of regular U.S. trading.
