Sure Chief, how about a course?

I don't do much day trading but hope to increase that. My stocks are mostly short term but I lean more to the day trading notion all the time. I honestly think it can be the safest way to go if & when one becomes proficient. Perhaps some will argue about that & of course it depends on the individual & their goals, greediness, risk tolerance, etc.

As I see stated by others, the opportunities seem so much better with US stocks, so much more stock choice, information, etc. However some here are doing a great job with Canadian stocks so I just have to learn the home field better.

Does anyone here play the E-trade stock game? I do & have learned quite a bit about day trading from that, I feel. Of course the risk level is eliminated, funds almost unlimited & orders can be filled hypothetically to great advantage albeit buying @ ask & selling @ bid. It is amazing what some players accomplish so I realize I have a tremendous amount of learning to do. Today, I 'made' 10% but the top players made probably 30 - 40%. Just how they manage to do that I would like to know. Obviously they must be at the game full time & probably working in groups, there are big prizes after all.

Anyway that's enough about games, you people are serious, for real profit, day traders. I hope to be there someday. For now I will do a little day trading, follow the threads with great interest & keep the learning cap on.

Hope I'm not messing up a good thread with triviality. Good trading to all!
