You misunderstood my post. I know what was going on with you and Dipy. I would NEVER say all conservatives are hateful. And I never directed my message to conservatives. I was speaking to Johannes, and absolutely no one else. And to your credit, you are no Johannes. I have many friends along all points of the political spectrum, including conservatives. Many of my political ideas--especially on economic and taxation issues--can be construed as conservative. I'm also fairly ambivalent about gun ownership. In that post, I was speaking specifically to Mr. Pilch, whom I regard as a very special person. Read through his posts. You will begin to note a certain pattern of his demonizing homosexuals, so-called liberals, and liberated women as the embodiment of evil. He has never hesitated in expressing his "contempt" for American people. His rhetoric reminds me of the Nazi's venom against the Weimar Republic in the 1920s, which they viewed as corrupted by Jews and homosexuals. I salute you for volunteering to serve. I was 11 months old when you volunteered.
