>>what percentage of those 5.9 million shares traded by BID. COM today would you say were purchased by the little people.?? <<

I watched most of the trading today...there were a lot of pro traders and short covering in and out all day long. (5,000 to 10,000 share blocks) I noticed at least one institution buying (26) and the 2 Yorkton crosses for 250,000 probably went to an institution. A fund manager may have phoned Yorkton looking for size, and of course they (11) would not turn a large buy order down. LOL..

First thing in the morning is the best time to observe small players as there is usually around 80 to a 100 lots on the bid and some of these are quite small

I do not have any idea as to how many small players were in today. I will say that it is a very dynamic market and very impressive to watch.
