Milehigh, I went back and reread the RMBS press release from Feb. 9, 1998 and it states that the interface technology is seeing "significant adoption in the networking market at both the integrated circuit(IC) and system levels." NEC, LSI Logic and Texas instruments were specifically mentioned in the release stating the next-generation communications IC's would be incorporating RMBS technology. Also from the release..."As the leader in Etherernet-switching silicon, TI believes that ThunderSWITCH II and Concurrent Rambus are poised to drive the exploding Fast Ethernet switching market". The message here is that based on the 12-18 month product development cycle, we should be looking for announcements in early 1999. Time will tell. bp
