I do not think the 10000 contract for Jan 10's are that interesting. For the last 6 months the number of contracts were about 7600 contracts, and just last week, got increased to 10000+. (in contrast there were 22000 call Nov 5's and 27000 Put Nov 5's). the interesting part is that the PUT open interest volume has come down quite a bit. Also, the Jan 20 calls are from 2 years ago, and somebody has left them open still. (no significance)
