CB, time flys but i would guess it was less than two months. If you subscribe to WSJ interactive search for David Levy of the Jerome Levy economics Institute. there was not much about the savings rate issue other than he conceded there are some legitimate dispute about how it is measured. I am not aware of any major changes in how it is compiled so assuming the methodology was applied consistently it clearly shows a steady decline in the rate of savings- not matter how you . I have info about savings rates buried somewhere. I will post a link to a site with more economic stats and graphs than you would want to see ( in my next note) home.att.net Mike
