Wren,
Interesting commentary on Erricsen . I seem to remember
several years ago that Erricsen bet on the wrong technology
and had to backtrack. I see a parallel between Erricsen and
JD.He seems unwilling to change his opinion when he has bet
on the wrong horse! I have cancelled my subscription because
of this unwarranted enthusiasm for stocks like Cppky,LSI,and
CD. I have learned to watch the leaders in market for signals
which way it might be heading. IMHO some of JD's stock
corrected before the market corrected and were beaten down
further as the rest of market corrected. I am watching CD and LSI
as a forbearer of a downturn. I think i'll call it my laggard watch.
Good luck on your search for new investment letter!
R Chen

Thanks, Wren, for a very interesting link. With regard to his JD's (Dessauer, not DeBry) multiple excursions to China, he was most likely "looking at" having his ego stroked by various CEOs & IR folks-- his "good friends" at his "fine companies". Never seem to hear fundamentals from him -numbers, gross rev., increasing margins etc. Again, he's too busy focusing on the superficials- construction & buildings in the port cities--not vacancies. Thanks for your considerable input. Much more gained here than in IW.
