You may also have heard that Samsung is spending another $250M to expand its DRAM factory in Austin(rings a bell?!). They have already placed orders to ASMLF, AMAT, NVLS, and KLAC.

Also, Oct. SEMI BTB that was released last week rose to .73 from 0.56 in Sept. Shipments picked up slightly from $840M to $844M but bookings surged from 417M to 618M. However, a $175M order from INTC given to AMAT for some CMP equipment could have skewed the bookings.

I hope the business picks up and all of these companies become profitable again.
