Not a chance ! for the following reasons.

(1) That will raise antitrust issue again, and it will never get approved.

(2) YHOO is TOO EXPENSIVE. Bill Gates is a smart business man. Microsoft.com is already #3, and he has a strong alliance with NBC. Therefore, MSFT does not need anybody to compete and become the #2 portal behind AOl/NSCP very soon. In summary, AOL/NSCP deal is a big positive for AOL, positive for MSFT because of the antitrust case, and a BIG NEGATIVE for YHOO!

I think they said something more to the effect that they will use and exist with MS, if need be...and challenge MS when necessary.

Good attitude...and that's half the game.
