Hey JHG,

For me to say with certainty where AOL will go is beyond my abilities. From the beginning, I've always said that AOL will leverage it's strengths to drive it's strategic vision. So far, management and co. have done a fantastic job. There is still an untapped market of households - roughly 25% of homes are wired. That leaves a lot of room for growth.

AOL's multiple brand strategy and business model is paying off. CompuServe is back on it's feet, ICQ is growing like a weed, the AOL mothership continues it's momentum...and now the Netscape deal.

This quarter will be a telling sign for the internet sector as a whole. A lot of emphasis has been placed on the holiday shopping spree that is supposed to occur. That expectation is already priced into the stock.

As for Sun...I couldn't say one way or another if it's a buy right now. Don't know enough about the company. I believe they are required to pay AOL around $300 million, but in turn AOL is required to fill $500 million or so in equipment orders as part of the merger. Your own due diligence is required on this one.

Best of luck to all

S.
