Thanks John, I too only traded "safer" large cap stocks...until I caught the internet stock fever last week...I guess the frustrations of holding CPQ for so long with no rewards finally got to me...Now look at the mess I'm in! I just did some fine tooth research on COOL, and while I know it's a volatile stock, I'm hoping some recent good publicity with the company may be enough for the stock to reach the $50 so I could at least break even from my trading nightmare...If it doesn't work out, I know I will be sitting on this stock for a long time and I'll just have to keep praying that the internet frenzy doesn't die soon....Oh why did I EVER sell my CPQ? :(

The greatest tale of caution is David Hurbanis on the AMZN thread. He thought he had deep enough pockets to out last any run. He sold most of his buy and hold portfoliio to feed the monster. David no longer trades and has a day job. Though I did read he is doing well within the new circumstances. Smart Investor sounds exactly like him.

Best of luck to all. Even Jimbo, who I think just needs to have some EXCLAMATION POINT therapy and he'll be fine.
