I have rarely traded 500+ shares of stocks like Dell :-) I have a couple of friends on Schwab and I know the commission schedules are significantly higher than E*Trade's, but I don't know if all-or-nothing opening market trade orders would be better executed by E*Trade. At least the lower commissions would certainly improve your profits, more so if you trade options where the difference is even larger.
