OT - Yahoo is displaying a new message when you post indicating that off-topic (oops, sorry! :) ) posts and advertisements are subject to removal.

Bravo to Yahoo for finally starting to clean-up their act. There's been a pattern there lately of spamsters and scamsters descending on any hot stock.

The ploy for the spamsters is to give a header that somehow relates to the stock being discussed. But the content is just a pitch for some newsletter, data service, etc. (e.g. "Get the data you need to day-trade CREAF!")

The scamsters come swooping-down generally pitching worthless penny stocks to recent big winners or big losers, offering them a place to park their profits or make up their losses.

Fie on both camps, and glad Yahoo is finally doing something about it.

SI has always been pretty good about this, and if you bring this up with the management, they will probably deal with it.

By not not subscribing of course..

Grin..

Seriously, though.. If CREAF gets back to above say 25 I'm selling out and subscribing. I used his strategies a good while back and made $ on some depressed stocks. If I hadn't got greedy and held them too long I would've made more. It is a solid investment strategy. I recommend it.

I believe it makes Jim feel good to help people make $.
