Len, good news release. Sounds Promising. Richard, I agree that the current low oil prices represent an opportunity for those with the cash to acquire assets at these prices.

Interesting take on the Year 2000 issues... I cannot comment on some of those countries but am sure that they have assigned Y2K task forces to address those issues. They are not that "third world" that they would put their production at risk due to that. I can tell you that OPEC has certainly assigned technical support to address the Y2K problem. Personally, I do not feel that it will have such a drastic effect on production.

The problem lies with SE Asia... this problem needs to be resolved. Also, gas is displacing oil consumption in many energy consuming countries (India, Korea, Japan)

I personally feel that it is a good buy at these prices.

R - to what extent do you think that YK2 problems will effect production/distribution of oil - what I'm trying to envision is where computers come into the mechanics of a well pumping oil out of the ground? E
