More thoughts on today's "distant" news item and Visio's stock drop...

I've had time to look at one of the articles I mentioned again. Cutting through all the hype, what it looks like to me is some folks got scared since Visio is making a foray into CAD and so is the company mentioned (with the newly-appointed "super CEO"). Normally this wouldn't be anything to take notice of, but this article makes the guy sound like a superman. By the way, my original read of the article suggested that the co. mentioned was going to produce some kind of add-on to Autodesk AutoCAD. Based on the wording, however, you could also take it to mean they are going head-to-head with Autodesk's main product, and one of Visio's secondary products as well (IntelliCAD).
