Roger, you were correct. However, eBay will have to go to MUCH greater lengths to make measuring their business virtually impossible. For example, one can still get this information by totaling up about ten numbers. (Maybe, eBay makes it more difficult and someone has to total 100 numbers.) Still, the measurement of eBay's business will continue to be possible for the little guys, much to the chagrin of the analysts (who want the information so THEY have the advantage.) At this point, though, the market is not paying attention to these kinds of numbers, witnessed by the unbridled euphoria for eBay, Yahoo and Amazon.
