Its incredible that people are projecting earnings in the dark. I don't think Pokemon will contribute much this quarter. There isn't enough time to stock and sell thru before Christmas. 1999 should be a good year for this merchandise. I asked last week about any profit the co may make off the TV show. This could have a much bigger impact but the co won't disclose how much its generating in syndication or how much of that money they can keep. I have to think however that 185 outlets should be paying at least 200K a week. Anyone know this business who can give an estimated guess as to what the gross revenue the show is generating? And how much of this does kide keep? I know they expended some bucks in Americanising it so it should be some percent but how much? These answers could help us make some intelligent investment decisions instead of just gambling a few bucks on a crap shoot.

Street Walker: Forgive me, but you keep repeating the obvious. We know what kind of peripherals KIDE licenses for Pokemon and WCW; do you have any idea what they might be for Zelda? Glow-in-the-dark condoms?

I'm fully willing to believe Zelda will be big for KIDE, but I don't have a good picture yet.
