Tinsoldier,

You dont know who Paul is, but I see you have caught on pretty quick LOL. I will have to aplogize to Paul for having a life after hours other than work or making posts on this board. But now that I back from Curling, I'm here! and I'm pumped that the earnings were just as predicted.

But as NOVL's Contrarian, he does bring up some NOVL Naive questions. Why are NetWare5 sales so little when it has no NT5 competitor? Maybe try the fact that NetWare5 was release a mere month before the close of year-end results. And since it was a .0 code, customers (REGARDLESS OF OF MUCH BETA CODE IS PUSHED OUT) will not be rushing into implementing NetWare5. Even with the .0 issue, NetWare5 sales were impressive. Like I said in a previous post this afternoon, wait Paul and other contrarians for the next Q report on how good the NetWare5 sales will be.

the other thing I noticed is that no matter how good the results (considering this is the results from a RECOVERING company), the results are not good enough for some. If NOVL's revenue would have increased by 20%, then some here would have critisized NOVL for not making 30+%. Cant make some people happy I guess. But the stockholder of NOVL are happy!

regardless of NetWare's good results, the more important results were centred around the Directory Enabled revenue! That is NOVL's new focus. For the old-timers like Paul who havent caught on to NOVL's change in strategy, they would have missed this. But that was was stood out in the report for me!

Then there is the obvious - NOVL has again beat street earning - as Quad and I predicted long time ago!

I think Paul's last posting was more accurate. Trading should be at the $18-$19 range. I think we might even touch $19 in early trading.

As for the other posters "urban legand" prediction of buy on rumours sell on facts. Well I would guess the reverse factor is also true if the stock retracts just prior to the earnings release (sold on rumours) - that would mean that tomorrow will be a great day (buy on FACT!).

NOVL Longs have a lot to celebrate!!! Congrats all! Sorry Paul to hear that you jumped ship too early - but it was not as if we didnt warn you all spring what NOVL's future would be.

LOL!
