I go first to acses.com which shops at 15 different online booksellers in 20 seconds, and then lists the results, including what each site offers for the book in question: Hardcover or softcover (if published in softcover), and also shipping cost, then the total. It's a great site, and before you ask it to "shop", you can search by author, etc. Thanks again to the person on this thread that pointed out this great site! In less than 20 minutes I found out that one of my very favorite authors, Tom Clancy, had a new fiction title out. I read a quick synopsis, decided I wanted it, and told ACSES to go shop for it. In 20 seconds I found the cheapest site (books.com), clicked their link, registered my credit card, and bought the book. two-three days later, the book is on my doorstep, and now I'm reading it. So far it's right up there with his (Clancy's) usual high standards.
