The video offers retailers an excellent sales opportunity as Baby Huey is a timeless character, today's parents followed his adventures when they were kids and will love re-introducing Baby Huey to the next generation. The March release date provides the perfect window of opportunity because of the up-coming Easter holiday." In Baby Huey's Great Easter Adventure, all the kids in Bitzville are eagerly preparing for the town's annual Easter egg hunt. On the way home from school, a cute, shy little boy named Nick is flabbergasted when a giant egg literally falls off a truck and hatches in front of his very eyes. Out pops the biggest baby duck anyone ever saw! In spite of his ungainly size and clumsiness, Nick's parents (McCormick, Leisure) agree to take Huey into their family and soon Huey's innocent sweetness, high-energy curiosity and enthusiasm win over everyone in Bitzville. He also brings Nick newfound confidence and self-esteem. However, all is not perfect, a conniving impresario, P.T. Wynnsocki (Bologna) and his henchman (Lander) along with a high school ornithologist (Korman) have their own shady designs on Huey. They scheme to turn the town against the billed Baby and Nick, and his pals Audrey and Lotta must pull together to clear Huey's name, uncover the wily villains and save the big Easter celebration. Eggstraspecial' Easter Holiday News for Video Retailers The Baby Huey character has seen widespread recognition for nearly 50 years. From 1995-1996, The Baby Huey Show was the No.1 rated syndicated weekend children's television program in America. Harvey Entertainment is currently developing a brand new live-action Baby Huey TV series. Baby Huey cartoons can currently be seen as a part of "Harveytoons," a series of 65 half-hour episodes of classic animated shorts, airing nine times a week on the Fox Family Channel. Casper: A Spirited Beginning, the second Casper movie, became the No.1 non-Disney direct-to-video for 1997, was VSDA's Direct To Video of the Year and had the highest ROI of any of the year's direct-to-videos. In September 1998, "Casper Meets Wendy" debuted as the No.1 direct-to-video and continues to remain on top 10 sell-thru lists. Warner Bros.'
