Bubblydog,

Now you see the real importance of the work involved with developing a tool such as the comkey. Knowing the intracaces gives one the opportunity to "feel" how a comkey develops. Admittedly, not everyone will be able to do it but...the more, the merrier. It's the "feel" of things that ensures that no science will ever be totally separated from art. Without art, science would never advance. The paradox is, every scientific advance needs a degree of seperation from the art which fostered it. Then, a new application of art is necesary to carry it forward. Management of art/science is where the crux lies.

Most of the "mainstream" TA types (Bollinger, Murphy, DeMark, Favors[ha!], Cashun[huh?] [Garzerelli?], etc) seem to forget the "feel" of their work and fall back on a static rote application. It's happened to me a couple times as well.

trying not to get too comfy with my "stuff",

PS; A static rote application of most technical stuff on the DJIA here suggests a month long pullback to just over 8400. My mission (if I am to accept it) is to nail the next month to within 50 pts. Stay tunedog.
