Well there you go folks! As predicted, Downsouth cant make the predictions.

So here is the conclusion I come to Downsouth. You dont know and care what MSFT stock will do over the next year. Your idea of long-term investing is buy some MSFT stock and throw it in a vault for 5 years - regardless of MSFT's future potential.

So if MSFT's daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly value means nothing to a wise "long-term" investor like you, then WHY ARE YOU HERE!! This board is here to try to discuss and predict what MSFT will be doing in the "short-term". You are simply wasting your time and ours by being here!

Go find something better to do until you crack open your vault, blow the dust off your MSFT stock, and finally cash it in.

Since DownSouth has no clue what MSFT might be doing over the next year, I put the challenge to any other Pro-MSFTer on this board.

RudeDog, I honestly respect your insight on MSFT and the industry. Why dont you give it a shot? I'm serious. I would like to here a Pro-MSFTer's stock price prediction for the next 4 Quarters and a bit of logic (or identification of MSFT/Industry events) as to why it might reach a specific price point.

I know RudeDog can take on this challenge.
