It ought to stop wasting taxpayer dollars.">> The Dancing Bills have been caught and like all liars and cheats....they point the finger at others to divert attention, change the subject, spinn a distraction and when all else fails they can always claim - regardless of the wrongdoing and the facts that support these acts - that the oppostition is just "wasting taxpayer dollars..." Looks like Gates is in bed with Clinton, hook, line and sinker. Just watch Janet Reno come out of the back room and declare, after reviewing all the facts and all the damning evidence, that even though Gates was caught in the act...."we find that the weight of the evidence is circumstantial in nature." LIke yesterday's ruling against Gore: he was in meetings, there were memos and a mound of evidence he lied and misled the FBI and others in the Great Campaign Train Robbery of '96. Now the guy's off the hook because there isn't compelling evidence he was listening to what was being talked about in the meetings....or that he looked confused, etc. I can hear Reno come out and say for example, that from the deposition to the underlying record, "there doesn't seem to be any compelling evidence that Gates ever knew what the heck was going on in his company" during all the period of all this monopolistic strongarming. That, during his dep, he seemed to NOT look like he had a grasp of what was going on with his company, etc. Sorry guys, but we don't have a Blue Dress - a term I will use from now on to replace "Smoking Gun". I see the marketplace being Gates biggest threat, not the DOJ. Reno is in bed with Bill. The two Bills think, act, lie and have this great way of squirming, dancing, slipping, changing things to deflect, spinn, strongarm and muddle. Their testimonies were like mirror images: "is" and "concerned"..... All this makes a mockery of our judicial system. I hope the DOJ doen't cave, but you have to look at who's running the show. The case is a strawman. Clinton has been using Gates to distract attention from his own problems. By the same token, Clinton's problems have distracted attention away from Gates. Two Bills Dancing on the same side of the same coin. What a time in history. These guys are one of the last of a dying breed. The pubic just has no clue.... They don't care. Rob, steal, kill, threaten.... Power and Politics. Great bedfellows. Watch the golfing on the Vinyard next year.
