Intel Moves Up 366-MHz Mobile PII Introduction

November 25, 1998

ELECTRONIC BUYERS NEWS : Intel Corp., Santa Clara., Calif., will begin shipping a 366-MHz mobile Pentium II in the first half of 1999, slightly ahead of schedule, according to an Intel spokesman. By the end of next year, Intel's Coppermine processor for mobile and desktop PCs will exceed 600 MHz; at that time, the performance of both the desktop and mobile PC segments will be on an almost equal footing, he said.
