best white bands? No one ever said taste in music had to be politically correct. Besides I had Bob Marley, almost went with Santana, could have picked Hendrix but the concept was bands not solos or quartets (OK Vaughn was the only V I could think of). Sure I liked Temptations, Supremes, Martha and the Vandellas (damm there's the V) but they just sang and twirled, all the others actually played the music too. The point of the list was , it's impossible to pick one Best Band there's so many great bands in every category Jazz, Blues, Rock to some people even Country or Rap. So give me a break, and have a great thanksgiving!
